(Second Announcement) 

The biennial Conference of the  Italian Society of General Relativity and Gravitation (SIGRAV) is devoted to all aspects of gravitational physics, such as Classical and Quantum Gravity, Relativistic Astrophysics and Cosmology, as well as Experimental Gravity.

The five day Conference will host about twenty invited plenary talks and shorter invited and contributed talks in three parallel workshops. A science divulgation/outreach session will be hosted during the Conference.

The Conference will take place at the Osservatorio Astronomico di Capodimonte (Napoli), in the framework of the celebrations of 200 years since its foundation.

During the Conference, the AMALDI MEDAL and the SIGRAV Prizes will be awarded to outstanding Senior and Junior scientists.

Registration:

Only registered participants will be admitted to the Conference Centre. All participants will be required to pay a registration fee. Exceptions have to be agreed with the Organizing Committee.

The Registration form should be sent  NOT LATER than July 30, 2012. Later or on-site registrations will be possible, upon the payment of higher fees (if applicable). The fees include all the Conference material, the badge, the participation to all sessions, lunches, the coffee breaks.

The registration fees are fixed to:

  • 230 Euro (within October 1)
  • 200 Euro (SIGRAV members within October 1)
  • 100 Euro (students within October 1)
  • 280 Euro (within October 20)
  • 250 Euro (SIGRAV members within October 20)
  • 100 Euro (students within October 20)
  • 300 Euro (on site)
  • 270 Euro (SIGRAV members on site)
  • 120 Euro (students on site)

The fees can be paid by:

For submitting a contribution to a Workshop please send an e-mail (containing title and abstract) to the relevant Workshop Chairman at one of the following addresses  NO LATER than June 15, 2012.

Acknowledgment will be sent directly by the Chairmen briefly after receipt and final acceptance or rejection will be communicated to contributors before June 30; the final program of the workshops will be published after July 2.
