Open nominations for the 2015 IUPAP GRG Young Scientist Prize
A message to the national organizations in general relativity and
gravitation (and related fields) from the International Society on General
Relativity and Gravitation:
Dear Colleagues,
The primary purpose of this note is to ask you to inform your members that
nominations for the 2015 IUPAP General Relativity and Gravitation Young
Scientist Prize are now open.
NOTE: The primary nominator must be a member of the International Society
on General Relativity and Gravitation (ISGRG) but the nominee and
seconders need not be members. The deadline for submission is 1 February
2015. Details may be found at http://www.isgrg.org/IUPAPprize.php
<http://www.isgrg.org/IUPAPprize.php>. I would be happy to answer any
questions.
A secondary purpose of this email is to invite you to consider submitting
a bid to host GR22 in 2019. If at all possible, we would like to have the
meeting in conjunction with the Amaldi meeting on gravitational waves held
in the same year. The decision on where to hold GR22 will be made at GR21
in 2016. See http://www.isgrg.org/activities.php
<http://www.isgrg.org/activities.php> and
http://www.isgrg.org/bidsguide.php <http://www.isgrg.org/bidsguide.php>
for additional information. Again, I would be happy to answer questions.
Best regards,
Beverly
