XVII SIGRAV Conference

Torino, September 4-7, 2006
(Second Announcement)

The biennial Conference of the Italian Society for General Relativity and Gravitation (SIGRAV) is devoted to all aspects of gravitational physics, such as Classical and Quantum Gravity, Astrophysics and Cosmology, as well as Experimental Gravity.
As usual, the four day Conference will host about twenty invited plenary talks and shorter invited talks in three parallel workshops.
The Conference will take place at the Conference Center TorinoIncontra, located in Torino downtown (map).

During the Conference, the AMALDI MEDAL and the SIGRAV PRIZES will be awarded to outstanding Senior and Junior scientists.

Registration:
Only registered participants will be admitted to the Conference Centre. All participants will be required to pay a registration fee. Exceptions have to be agreed with the Organizing Committee.
Registration form should be filled in as soon as possible. On-site registrations will be possible. The fees include all the conference material, the badge, the participation to all sessions, the coffee breaks.
The registration fees are fixed to:

200 Euro (non members)
180 Euro (SIGRAV members)

the Social Dinner (to be paid separately), the Sigrav General Assembly, a guided visit to the Egyptian Museum and to the National Museum of Cinema.

Workshops:
For submitting a contribution to a Workshop please send an e-mail (containing title and abstract) to the relevant Workshop Chairman at one of the following addresses. In some of the workshops few slot are still available. So, if you are interested ask your chairman.
Acknowledgment will be sent directly by the Chairmen briefly after receipt; the final program of the workshops will be published after July 15.

Accomodations: the Organization has agreed with some Hotels a special convention for the partecipants of the conference. The Hotels will reserve a number of rooms until June 20.
