The biennial Conference
of the Italian Society for General Relativity and Gravitation
(SIGRAV) is devoted to all aspects of gravitational physics, such as Classical
and Quantum Gravity, Astrophysics and Cosmology, as well as Experimental Gravity.
As usual, the four day Conference will host about twenty invited plenary talks
and shorter invited talks in three parallel workshops. The Conference
will take place at the Conference Center TorinoIncontra, located in
Torino downtown (map).
During the Conference, the AMALDI MEDAL and the SIGRAV PRIZES will be awarded to outstanding Senior and Junior scientists.
If you did not receive this announcement directly and you want to be kept posted,
or you want to be removed from our mailing list, please send an appropriate
mail to the Secretariat. The first announcement can be found here. The final program will be posted in early July.
Registration:
Only registered participants will be admitted to the Conference Centre.
All participants will be required to pay a registration fee. Exceptions have
to be agreed with the Organizing Committee.
Registration form should be filled in as soon as possible. On-site registrations will be possible. The fees include all the conference
material, the badge, the participation to all sessions, the coffee breaks.
The registration fees are fixed to:
| 200 Euro (non members) |
| 180 Euro (SIGRAV members) |
The fees can be payed by:
The Organizers prefer bank transfer payments.
Tentative program of the conference can be found here.
Social program includes:
the Social Dinner (to be paid separately), the Sigrav General Assembly, a
guided visit to the Egyptian Museum and to the National Museum
of Cinema.
During the meeting the election of the SIGRAV President and of the Scientific Committee will be held. Please read more about election here.
