The biennial Conference of the Italian Society for General Relativity and Gravitation (SIGRAV) is devoted to all aspects of gravitational physics, such as Classical and Quantum Gravity, Astrophysics and Cosmology, as well as Experimental Gravity.
As usual, the four day Conference will host about twenty invited plenary talks and shorter invited and contributed talks in four parallel workshops.
The Conference will take place at the University of Cosenza (map).

During the Conference, the AMALDI MEDAL and the SIGRAV PRIZES will be awarded to outstanding Senior and Junior scientists. This year a special celebration in memory of Prof. M.Anile will be included in the program. On friday September 26 a satellite event consisting in a day about communication of science will be scheduled.

During the Social assembly on Tuesday the new SIGRAV President and committe will be elected. Ballots will close on Tuesday, September 23 at 13:00.

Registration:
Only registered participants will be admitted to the Conference. All participants will be requested to pay a registration fee. Exceptions have to be agreed with the Organizing Committee.
Registration form should be sent NO LATER than June 30, 2008. A late time registration is possible NO LATER than September 1, 2008, upon the payment of higher fees (if applicable). On-site registrations will be possible, upon the payment of the appropriate fees (if applicable) though in this last case the conference services will not be guaranteed. A special student fee is also available. The fees include all the conference material, the badge, the participation to all sessions, the coffee breaks. Conventions with resturants will be provided to the participants for lunch and dinner. As usual a computer room will be set up for participants. A wi-fi connection is under development and we hope it will be available for the conference.

Accomodations: the Organization has agreed with some Hotels a special convention for the partecipants of the conference. The Hotels have reserved a number of rooms (about 90) with deadlines ranging between the end of July and the beginning of September. Please check the table below. Partecipants have to book directly with the Hotels and for organizational reasons are kindly requested to inform the organizing committee after the booking has been done. Please notice that for late bookings (after the deadleines published) we are not able to guarantee neigther the availability of rooms nor the same fees.
